Instructions

1. Melt butter in small saucepan on medium heat. Add sugar; cook and stir 2 min. or until sugar is completely dissolved, and butter mixture is hot and bubbly. Cool 10 min.
2. Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy; blend in butter mixture. Add whipped topping; whisk until blended.
3. Chop 6 cookies; set aside. Place remaining cookies in single layer on parchment-covered baking sheet; top with cream cheese mixture and fudge topping.
4. Sprinkle with chopped cookies.

Variation

Prepare using Neufchatel cheese and/or frozen light whipped topping.
